Alright I already mentioned I live in a sorority house in a tiny double room. Here's the thing I technically have had a single since my roommate has been abroad the entire quarter, so I have had the room to my self. Two closets, three dressers, and my life has been great. Mind you now that she is coming back I have to empty out practically all my stuff and I will no longer have a guest bed.
But here's the shocking news... Having a single was not all that I thought it would be. I have to say having a single in a house of 40 girls who share rooms was quite lonely. Everyone else was never alone; they always had someone with them. Now mind you I do like my privacy, but not when I feel like I have been quarantined.
SO I decked out my room when I moved in like no one has ever seen before. You walk in and you instantly get the princess vibe, which was my overall goal. This past endless summer I planned my room with an inspiration board on Pinterest to look like my own bit of Versailles. (Follow me http://pinterest.com/andiehahn/)
Needless to say everyone loves my room, but I had better post pictures now when everything is still perfect, clean, and serene before my roommate gets back. Mind you she was voted the dirtiest person in the house last year and juxtapose that to my masterpiece of a room... this shall be interesting but here ya go: My Versailles
PS of course the pictures give it this ugly yellow tint that takes away form how gorgeous it really is, but my pink chandelier was definitely the touch of perfection
